Mercedes is native New Yorker, born and raised. She attended college as a criminal justice major and pursued a career in law enforcement. Mercedes was a member of the U.S. Army Military Police Corp. and a New York State Trooper thereafter. After retiring, she began studying in various niches such as Improv at UCBTLA, Scene Study at TVI and Richard Lawson Studios (WACO), Hosting at Carolyne Barry and Voiceover at Kalmenson & Kalmenson. Mercedes has appeared on America’s Court with Judge Ross and in various films and theater productions. She also creates her own films under her company MSTEELEWORKS PRODUCTIONS, LLC. With Mercedes you can "make it happen".
Mercedes’ mantra is “Mercedes Steele Works”.
The camera loves Mercedes, as much as she loves it.
She has been working tirelessly on projects in pursuit of perfecting her craft. Currently she's beginning production on the independent film "Tougher Than Them". Most recently, her film "15 Minutes" was selected to premiere in The Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival. 15 Minutes was also officially selected by The Chandler International Film Festival where Mercedes won the Best Woman Filmmaker Award.
